Allergens & Food Safety

All of our food is prepared and baked in a single shared kitchen using shared equipment, surfaces and ovens. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from any allergen, even when the recipe does not include it.

Allergens routinely present in our kitchen include: wheat, milk, eggs, sesame (including in zaatar and tahini), tree nuts, peanuts, soy, mustard and sulphites.

If you have a severe allergy or anaphylaxis risk, please call us at 613-830-7171 before ordering, and consider whether our food is safe for you. Because of shared equipment, trace amounts of any allergen may be present.

Labels such as “vegetarian” and “vegan” describe the ingredients we use in that recipe. They do not mean the item was prepared on separate equipment, and they are not a certification. Ingredients and suppliers can change without notice, so always check with staff if a dietary requirement is strict.

Our entire menu is 100% halal.

Notes and special requests are a best effort by our kitchen. Please do not rely on an order note to manage a medical allergy — call us instead so we can talk it through.

We do not publish nutritional analysis. Any nutritional or calorie information given verbally or in the app is an estimate only and should not be relied on for medical or dietary decisions.

Our food is baked fresh and is best eaten the same day. After pickup, keep hot food hot and refrigerate anything you are not eating within two hours (one hour in hot weather). Reheat thoroughly before eating. Once food leaves our store, safe storage and handling is your responsibility.
